All The Best

Star cast: Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgan, Fardeen Khan, Bipasha Basu, Mugdha Godse, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Ashwini Kalsekar and Mukesh Tiwari Director: Rohit Shetty One word: A total time pass flick. All The Best is undoubtedly the most entertaining film amongst the 2009 Diwali releases. Rohit Shetty has yet again got it right when it comes to keeping his audience laughing without resorting below the belt humour and vulgar interludes. Ajay Devgan showcases his improved comic timing and towers above the rest. Dutt too is in top form and entertains. Fardeen is passable. Bipasha and Mugdha don’t have much to do but be a part of the chaos which they do ably. Johnny Lever finally after a long time gets a meaty funny part and he utilizes this opportunity to the maxim. Sanjay Mishra and Ashwini Kalsekar make the proceedings funnier. All the Best is "The Best Movie" in Diwali release.

Blue

Blue is a neat attempt at meeting the standards of the western counterparts action & suspense movie making. A brave attempt but falls flat on one basic things i.e story line/script. Let's put it this way - "Blue" may not be the mind-blowing commercial action thriller that you would have ever seen. However, it certainly is the most innovative attempt that deserves to be acknowledged and lauded. Though as expected Blue has moments of pure copy of film scenes from movie like Hitch, Broken Arrow & etc. etc. Also the style factor misses to impress, specially the illegal street bike racing scene. The under water sequences have to lauded. The music of the maestro "Rehman" is pleasant & innovative. Although there would have been a better work at story telling & background score, the film would have been a class apart, even better than western movies.

Main aur Mrs Khanna

The film is about a couple Samir (Salman) & Raina (Kareena ), their life & the problems. Then there is Akash (Sohail) who's a stranger working at Melbourn airport coffee shop. The story revolves around, not so happy marriage & a love trinagle between Samir, Raina & Akash. Samir is a out of job & a bit husband, who finds it difficult to cope with the fact that his wife has to work as a waitress coz of him. So he asks her to go back to her home back in India & he leaves for Singapore to make his career. Raina decides otherwise & decides to stay back. Their she meets Akash & then their life changes. Movie has a very short & simple theam & story. Neatly presented. Hummable songs & a special thanks for putting the "Bade acche lagte hai" song in it. Also has its own moments of laugh. Only a bit more of character description & depth would have done immense good to the moive. A must watch for soft romantic movie lovers. Go ahead hav...
